Description
The Common fig 'Violette Dauphine' (Ficus carica) produces purple fruits. They are pear-shaped and have a sweet flavour. Well-drained, loamy, slightly acidic soil and a sunny location create ideal conditions for a high-yield harvest from July. Its white flowers are a beautiful sight. With its shrub-like growth, the Common fig 'Violette Dauphine' grows to around 4 metres high and 4 metres wide.
