Description
The Fennel 'Rubrum' (Foeniculum vulgare) is a clump-forming, loose, upright perennial with decorative, pinnate, copper-brown leaves. It bears yellow flowers with a strong fragrance from July to August. In a sunny location with well-drained, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 1.5 m and grows to a width of approx. 60 cm. The Fennel 'Rubrum' is well tolerant of frost.
