Description
The Alpine strawberry 'Elsanta'® (Fragaria vesca) produces red, large berries. These are firm and sweet, with a juicy flavour. Well-drained, humus-rich, slightly acidic soil and a sunny location create the ideal conditions for a high-yielding harvest from July. Its white flowers are a beautiful sight. With its runner-forming and creeping growth, Alpine strawberry 'Elsanta'® grows to around 20 cm high and 1 m wide, making it ideal for growing in pots on balconies or terraces.
