Fragaria vesca - P9
Description
The Wild strawberry (Fragaria vesca) produces red berries. These are sweet in flavour. Well-drained, humus-rich, slightly acidic soil and a sunny location create the ideal conditions for a high-yielding harvest from May. Its white flowers are a beautiful sight. With its runner-forming and creeping growth, Wild strawberry grows to around 20 cm high and 1 m wide, making it ideal for growing in pots on balconies or terraces.
