Description
The Weißesche 'Autumn Applause' (Fraxinus americana) is a broad, ovoid small tree that produces green/purple or wine-red flowers. They appear in April. The Weißesche 'Autumn Applause' also has pinnate, dark green leaves. Its bark is grey and longitudinally furrowed. In a sunny to semi-shady location with humus-rich, moist to wet, weakly acidic soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 14 m and is approx. 8 m wide.
