Description
The Common ash 'Geessink' (Fraxinus excelsior) is an ovoid, slender large tree with decorative winged fruits that remain on the tree for a very long time. In April, it produces yellow-green flowers arranged in panicles. The Common ash 'Geessink' also bears lanceolate, pinnate, medium-green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich, calcareous, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of around 20 metres.
