Description
The Common ash 'Jaspidea' (Fraxinus excelsior) is a conical tree with decorative wing fruits. It produces yellow-red flowers from April to May. The Common ash 'Jaspidea' also bears pinnate, light green leaves. The light yellow shoots are also an interesting sight. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich, calcareous, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of around 17 metres and grows to a width of around 10 metres.
