Description
The Common ash 'Pendula' (Fraxinus excelsior) is an umbrella-shaped tree with decorative wing fruits that remain on the tree for a very long time. It produces yellow-red flowers arranged in panicles from April to May. The Common ash 'Pendula' also bears pinnate, medium-green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich, calcareous, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of around 15 metres and grows to a width of around 10 metres.
