Description
The American ash 'Summit' (Fraxinus pennsylvanica) is a conical, broad tree that produces greenish-yellow flowers. They appear from April to May. The American ash 'Summit' also has matt, pinnate, medium green leaves. Its bark is brown and deeply fissured. In a sunny location with well-drained, nutrient-rich, weakly acidic soil, it usually reaches a height of around 16 metres and grows to a width of around 8 metres.
