Description
The Dyer's greenweed (Genista tinctoria) is an upright, loose small shrub that produces golden yellow flowers. They appear from June to August. These produce brown legumes. The Dyer's greenweed also has shiny, lanceolate, dark green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich, acidic soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 1.2 metres and grows to a width of approx. 1.2 metres.
