Description
The Big-root cranesbill (Geranium macrorrhizum) is a bushy, broad, winter-green perennial that produces pink-coloured, cup-shaped flowers from May to July. Its rounded, lobed leaves are medium green in colour. In a sunny to shady location, it usually reaches a height of approx. 30 cm and is approx. 40 cm wide. The Big-root cranesbill makes no particular demands on the soil. The Big-root cranesbill is well tolerant of frost.
