Description
The Purple cranesbill (Geranium x magnificum) is a bushy, broad perennial that forms blue-violet, cup-shaped flowers from May to June. Its palmate, lobed leaves are medium green in colour. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 50 cm and is approx. 40 cm wide. The Purple cranesbill is well tolerant of frost.
