Description
The Dusky cranesbill (Geranium phaeum) is an upright, loose perennial with decorative, rounded, lobed, dark green leaves. It bears purple-red flowers from May to June. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, humus-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 70 cm and is approx. 40 cm wide. The Dusky cranesbill is well tolerant of frost.
