Description
The Chiloe Island avens 'Blazing Sunset' (Geum chiloense) is an upright, winter-green perennial that produces red or scarlet-coloured, cup-shaped flowers from June to August. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 60 cm and is approx. 50 cm wide. The Chiloe Island avens 'Blazing Sunset' is well tolerant of frost.
