Description
The Scarlet-flowered avens (Geum coccineum) is an upright, winter-green perennial that produces red flowers from May to July. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 40 cm and is approx. 40 cm wide. The Scarlet-flowered avens is well tolerant of frost.
