Description
The Scarlet-flowered avens 'Borisii' (Geum coccineum) is an upright, winter-green perennial that produces coral-red flowers from May to July. Repeated flowering occurs in September with the right care. Its pinnate leaves are medium green. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 30 cm and is approx. 25 cm wide. The Scarlet-flowered avens 'Borisii' is well tolerant of frost.
