Description
The Chiloe Island avens 'Fiery Tempest'® (Geum chiloense) is an upright, clump-forming, winter-green perennial that produces scarlet-red, cup-shaped flowers from May to June. Its pinnate leaves are medium green in colour. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 50 cm and is approx. 35 cm wide. The Chiloe Island avens 'Fiery Tempest'® is well tolerant of frost.
