Description
The Water avens (Geum rivale) is an upright, clump-forming, winter-green perennial that forms multi-coloured, cup-shaped flowers from April to June. Its pinnate leaves are medium green. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained, nutrient-rich soil, it usually grows to a height of approx. 40 cm and is approx. 30 cm wide. The Water avens is well tolerant of frost.
