Description
With its medium green leaves, the Leed (Glyceria maxima) is an extremely decorative aquatic plant that is particularly suitable for areas such as tubs, pond edges and ponds. Brown flowers appear from July to August. It prefers well-drained, calcareous soil in a sunny position. The Leed is well tolerant of frost. The upright, runner-forming, winter-green plant usually reaches a height of approx. 70 cm.
