Description
With its green-yellow leaf colouring, the Garten-Ziergras 'Mulled Wine' (Hakonechloa macra) is a decorative design element in the garden, which also adorns containers on balconies or terraces with its bushy and broad growth. The green flower fronds adorn this grass from summer onwards. It feels most at home in a semi-shady to shady location with well-drained, humus-rich soil. In favourable conditions, this hardy grass reaches a height of approx. 45 cm and grows up to 60 cm wide.
