Description
The Persian ivy (Hedera colchica) is a climbing, creeping garden plant with decorative, black fruits. It produces creamy white flowers in September. The Persian ivy also has leathery, egg-shaped, dark green leaves. In a semi-shady to shady location with humus-rich, loose, nutrient-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of around 6 metres and grows to around 4 metres wide.
