Description
The Sunflower (Helianthus microcephalus) is an upright, loose perennial that forms light yellow, basket-shaped flowers from September to October. Its lanceolate leaves are dark green. In a sunny location with nutrient-rich, loamy soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 1.6 m and grows to a width of approx. 70 cm. The Sunflower is well tolerant of frost.
