Description
The Willow-leaved sunflower (Helianthus salicifolius) is an upright perennial with decorative, linear, medium green leaves. It bears yellow, basket-shaped flowers from October to November. In a sunny location with well-drained, nutrient-rich, loamy soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 2.5 metres and grows to a width of approx. 1.2 metres. The Willow-leaved sunflower is well tolerant of frost.
