Description
The Sunflower 'Sunsation® Flame' (Helianthus annuus) is a popular plant for the balcony that produces countless multi-coloured flowers throughout the season. The light green leaves are heart-shaped. A sunny position and a well-drained substrate are preferred.

The deciduous leaves of the Sunflower 'Sunsation® Flame' are light green, heart-shaped and serrated. They are about 35 - 40 cm tall.

Water
Water regularly and allow the soil to dry out in the meantime.
Location
Preferred location in a sunny position.

Well-drained, nutrient-rich substrate preferred.
Commercially available container plant soil.
Planting time
Planting: After the last frosts.
Care
Regular watering in summer is particularly important. Morning or evening is the best time for this. Watering should also be done slowly and, if possible, not over flowers and leaves.
Flower
The multi-coloured, capitate flowers appear from August to October. These grow to about 10 - 40 cm tall.
