Description
The Curry plant (Helichrysum italicum) is a bushy, upright, winter-green perennial that forms yellow, tubular flowers arranged in umbels from July to August. Its lanceolate leaves are silver-grey. In a sunny location with well-drained, nutrient-rich, dry soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 60 cm and is approx. 40 cm wide. The Curry plant is well tolerant of frost.

Care

Herbs are well cared for in planters if they are given herb fertiliser once in spring. When planted out in the garden, a dose of compost at the start of the season is sufficient.
