Care
- Excess water must be able to drain away easily and waterlogging should be avoided at all costs.
- Too much fertiliser will damage the herb flavour! Herbs are well cared for in planters if they are given herb fertiliser once in spring. When planted out in the garden, a dose of compost at the start of the season is sufficient.
- Regular watering in summer is particularly important. Morning or evening is the best time for this. Watering should also be done slowly and, if possible, not over the flowers and leaves.
