Description
With its blue-green leaf colouring, Blue oat grass 'Saphirsprudel' (Helictotrichon sempervirens) is a decorative design element in the garden, which also stands out with its clump-forming growth. The brown panicles of flowers adorn this grass from summer onwards. It feels most at home in a sunny location with a well-drained, humus-rich, nutrient-rich soil. In favourable conditions, this hardy grass reaches a height of approx. 1 m and grows up to 60 cm wide.
