Description
The North American ox eye 'Summer Nights' (Heliopsis helianthoides var. scabra) is an upright, clump-forming perennial that produces golden yellow, basket-shaped flowers from July to September. Its egg-shaped, serrated leaves are dark green. In a sunny to semi-shady location with well-drained soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 1.2 m and grows to a width of approx. 60 cm. The North American ox eye 'Summer Nights' is well tolerant of frost.
