Description
The Corsican hellebore (Helleborus argutifolius) is an upright, bushy, winter-green perennial with decorative, lanceolate, toothed, dark green leaves. From March to April, it bears greenish-yellow, cup-shaped flowers. In a semi-shady to shady location with well-drained, calcareous soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 30 cm and grows to a width of approx. 30 cm. The Corsican hellebore is well tolerant of frost.
