Description
The Croatian hellebore (Helleborus croaticus) is an upright perennial that produces purple-red, cup-shaped flowers from March to May. Its fingered leaves are medium green. In a semi-shady to shady location with calcareous, dry soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 30 cm and is approx. 40 cm wide. The Croatian hellebore is well tolerant of frost.
