Description
The Fragrant hellebore (Helleborus odorus) is an upright, evergreen perennial that produces light green, cupped flowers with a pleasant fragrance from February to April. Its palmate leaves are dark green. In a semi-shady to shady location with well-drained, calcareous soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 30 cm and grows to a width of approx. 40 cm. The Fragrant hellebore is well tolerant of frost.
