Description
The Bastard hellebore (Helleborus viridis) is an upright, winter-green perennial that forms green, cup-shaped flowers from March to May. Its palmate leaves are dark green. In a semi-shady to shady location with well-drained, calcareous soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 40 cm and is approx. 30 cm wide. The Bastard hellebore is well tolerant of frost.
