Description
With its green and white leaf colouring, Hibanobambusa 'Shiroshima' (Hibanobambusa tranquillans) is a decorative design element in the garden, which can be used as a free-growing hedge or as a single plant with its bushy and spreading growth. It prefers sunny to semi-shady, wind-protected locations with well-drained and nutrient-rich soil. In favourable conditions, this hardy bamboo reaches a height of approx. 2.5 m and grows up to 3 m wide.
