Description
The Plantain lily (Hosta clausa var. normalis) is a clump-forming, runner-forming perennial with decorative, whole-edged, dark green leaves. It bears purple flowers from July to August. In a semi-shady to shady location with well-drained, humus-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 30 cm and grows to a width of approx. 40 cm. The Plantain lily is well tolerant of frost.
