Description
With its multi-coloured leaves, Heart-leaved houttuynia 'Flame' (Houttuynia cordata) is a highly decorative aquatic plant that is particularly suitable for areas such as pond edges, streams, ground cover and small/front gardens. White flowers appear from July to September. It prefers humus-rich, nutrient-rich soil in a sunny position. The Heart-leaved houttuynia 'Flame' is well tolerant of frost. The creeping, rhizome-forming plant usually reaches a height of approx. 20 cm.
