Description
The Rough-leaved hydrangea 'Hot Chocolate'® (Hydrangea aspera) is a compact, deciduous shrub with decorative, egg-shaped, dark green leaves. The burgundy-red shoots are also an interesting sight. It also bears pink-blue flowers arranged in umbels from May to September. In a sunny to shady, wind-protected location with well-drained, humus-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of around 2 metres and is around 2 metres wide.
