Growth
Common hydrangea 'Alpenglühen' is bushy and upright in habit.

Water
The plant needs plenty of water. Do not allow the soil to dry out.

Care
- Old inflorescences and dry wood are removed in spring. - This plant should only be watered with lime-free water. Rainwater is particularly suitable for this purpose. - Over the years, blue-flowering hydrangeas will often only flower in pink. To prevent this, 'Hydrangea Blue' can be used to help. It contains the aluminium responsible for the blue colouring.

Flower
The carmine-red, cupped flowers appear in umbels from June to September. They grow to around 21 - 23 cm tall.
