Description
The Teller-Hortensie 'Eisvogel' (Hydrangea macrophylla) is a bushy, broad small shrub that produces pink/blue, plate-shaped flowers arranged in umbels. They appear from July to September. The Teller-Hortensie 'Eisvogel' also has egg-shaped, medium green leaves. In a sunny location with humus-rich, weakly acidic soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 1.4 metres and grows to a width of approx. 1.6 metres.

Care
- Remove old inflorescences and dry wood in spring. - This plant should only be watered with lime-free water. Rainwater is particularly suitable for this purpose. - Over the years, blue-flowering hydrangeas will often only produce pink flowers. To prevent this, 'Hydrangea Blue' can be used to help. It contains the aluminium responsible for the blue colouring.
