Description
The Hydrangea 'BloomStar' (Hydrangea macrophylla) is a dense, compact, shrub-like small shrub that produces blue, ball-shaped flowers. These appear from May to October. The Hydrangea 'BloomStar' also has ovate, medium-green leaves. In a sunny to semi-shaded position with well-drained, humus-rich soil, it usually reaches a height of around 1.4 m and spreads to around 1 m.

Care
- Old inflorescences and dry wood are removed in spring. - This plant should only be watered with lime-free water. Rainwater is particularly suitable for this purpose. - Over the years, blue-flowering hydrangeas will often only flower in pink. To prevent this, 'Hydrangea Blue' can be used to help. It contains the aluminium responsible for the blue colouring.
