Description
The Common hydrangea 'Summer Love'® (Hydrangea macrophylla) is an upright, dense small shrub that produces pink, cupped flowers arranged in umbels. They appear from May to October. The Common hydrangea 'Summer Love'® also has egg-shaped, medium-green leaves. In a semi-shady to shady location with humus-rich, weakly acidic soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 2 m and grows to a width of approx. 80 cm.

Care
- Old inflorescences and dry wood are removed in spring. - This plant should only be watered with lime-free water. Rainwater is particularly suitable for this purpose. - Over the years, blue-flowering hydrangeas will often only flower in pink. To prevent this, 'Hydrangea Blue' can be used to help. It contains the aluminium responsible for the blue colouring.
