Description
The Common hydrangea 'Hot Red Violett' (Hydrangea macrophylla) is a bushy, upright small shrub that produces purple-red, cupped flowers arranged in umbels. They appear from June to September. The Common hydrangea 'Hot Red Violett' also has egg-shaped, dark green leaves. In a semi-shady to shady location with humus-rich, weakly acidic soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 1.5 metres and grows to a width of approx. 1.5 metres.
