Growth
Common hydrangea 'Rotkehlchen' is bushy and upright in habit.

Water

Care
- Remove old inflorescences and dry wood in spring. - This plant should only be watered with lime-free water. Rainwater is particularly suitable for this purpose. - Over the years, blue-flowering hydrangeas will often only produce pink flowers. To prevent this, 'Hydrangea Blue' can be used to help. It contains the aluminium responsible for the blue colouring.

Flower
The red, cupped flowers appear in umbels from June to September.
