Description
The Teller-Hortensie 'Tokyo Delight' (Hydrangea macrophylla) is a bushy, upright shrub that produces white, plate-shaped flowers arranged in umbels. They appear from July to September. The Teller-Hortensie 'Tokyo Delight' also has egg-shaped, medium green leaves. In a semi-shady to shady location with humus-rich, weakly acidic soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 1.8 m and grows to approx. 1.8 m wide.

Leaves
The deciduous leaves of the Teller-Hortensie 'Tokyo Delight' are medium green, ovate, serrated. They are about 10 - 15 cm in size.

The Teller-Hortensie 'Tokyo Delight' has good frost hardiness.

Growth
Teller-Hortensie 'Tokyo Delight' is a bushy and upright growing shrub. It usually reaches a height of 1.5 - 1.8 m and is approx. 1.5 - 1.8 m wide.

Care
- Old inflorescences and dry wood are removed in spring. - This plant should only be watered with lime-free water. Rainwater is particularly suitable for this purpose. - Over the years, blue-flowering hydrangeas will often only flower in pink. To prevent this, 'Hydrangea Blue' can be used to help. It contains the aluminium responsible for the blue colouring.

The white, disc-shaped flowers of Teller-Hortensie 'Tokyo Delight' appear in umbels from July to September.
