Description
The Oak-leaved hydrangea 'Amethyst' (Hydrangea quercifolia) is a bushy, broad shrub that produces multicoloured flowers arranged in panicles with a light fragrance. They appear from June to August. In a sunny to semi-shady, wind-protected location with well-drained, humus-rich, lime-free soil, it usually reaches a height of around 2 metres and grows to around 2 metres wide.
