Description
The Hortensie (Hydrangea serratifolia) is a climbing evergreen plant that produces creamy white flowers. They appear from June to July. The Hortensie also has glossy, leathery, broadly lanceolate, medium green leaves. In a semi-shady, wind-protected location with well-drained, weakly acidic soil, it usually reaches a height of around 1.2 metres and grows to a width of around 8 metres.

Synonyms (botanical): Hydrangea integerrima.

The evergreen leaves of Hortensie are medium green, broadly lanceolate, glossy and leathery. They are about 7 - 15 cm in size.

Hortensie is a climbing plant that can reach a height of 8 - 1.2 m and a width of 4 - 8 m.

Water
Water regularly and allow the soil to dry out in the meantime.

Location
Preferred location in partial shade, sheltered from the wind.

Standard container plant soil. Normal soil.

Planting time
Container plants can be planted all year round, except when the soil is frozen and in summer heat (over 30°C).
