Description
With its dark green leaves, the Frogbit (Hydrocharis morsus-ranae) is an extremely decorative aquatic plant that is particularly suitable for areas such as ponds. White flowers appear from July to August. It prefers nutrient-rich soil in a sunny to semi-shady position. The Frogbit is well tolerant of frost. The runner-forming plant usually reaches a height of approx. 6 cm.
