Description
The St John's wort (Hypericum kalmianum) is a broad small shrub that produces yellow flowers. They appear from July to August. In a sunny location with well-drained, sandy, loamy soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 1 m and grows to a width of approx. 1.2 m.

Container plants can be planted all year round, except when the soil is frozen and in summer heat (over 30°C).

Excess water must be able to drain away easily, waterlogging should be avoided at all costs.
