Description
The St John's wort 'Gemo' (Hypericum kalmianum) is a bushy, broad small shrub with decorative, red-brown, oval fruits. It produces yellow, bowl-shaped flowers from July to September. The St John's wort 'Gemo' also has lanceolate, blue-green leaves. The light green shoots are also an interesting sight. In a sunny location with well-drained, sandy, loamy soil, it usually reaches a height of around 1 metre and grows to a width of around 1.5 metres.
