Description
The Square-stalked St John's wort (Hypericum tetrapterum) is an upright, stolon-forming perennial that produces pale yellow flowers arranged in panicles from July to August. Its ovate, entire-edged leaves are medium green. In a sunny position with well-drained, moist to wet soil, it usually reaches a height of approx. 50 cm and spreads to approx. 40 cm. The Square-stalked St John's wort is highly frost-hardy.
