Description
The Igiri tree (Idesia polycarpa) is an upright small tree with decorative, red fruits that remain on the tree for a very long time. They exude a pleasant fragrance. It produces yellow-green flowers arranged in clusters from May to June. The Igiri tree also bears heart-shaped, fresh green leaves. In a sunny location with well-drained, loose soil, it usually reaches a height of around 10 metres and is around 8 metres wide.
